Waiting for the Bounce: Polished Diamond Price Index is Flat Again in July

(IDEX Online) - The IDEX Polished Diamond Price Index was flat throughout July, closing just a fraction up on the start of the month. It rose by 0.29 per cent, compared with a slight fall of 0.35 per cent in June. May was another straight-line month, down by a negligible 0.04 per cent. The index rose by 0.7 per cent in April, prompting hopes of a post-COVID recovery, but there has been little positive movement since then.
