World Diamond Congress Set for Mumbai

RAPAPORT... The 2018 World Diamond Congress will take place in Mumbai inlate October, the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) said last week. The meeting of the WFDB and the International DiamondManufacturers Association (IDMA) - at which the organizations discussindustry issues every two years - was originally scheduled for June inTel Aviv. The groups canceled the meeting due to low registration, citing geopolitical tension in the region as a possible factor."We look forward to meeting all the WFDB and IDMA presidents and their delegations, as well as members of the entire diamond pipeline," said WFDB president Ernie Blom.
