(IDEX Online) - A hysterical bride was reunited with the diamond that fell out of her engagement ring at JFK Airport - thanks to an eagle-eyed TSA (Transportation Security Administration) officer. The New York couple were jetting off for a pandemic-delayed honeymoon on the far-flung island of Guam, in the Western Pacific, when they realized the gem had become dislodged. They boarded their plane in distress after a frantic and fruitless search, but received a text message and voicemail as they landed to say the diamond had been found.Lead TSA officer John Killian spotted it on the floor at a checkpoint, between a metal detector and an X-ray machine. He said: "The shine caught my eye. I was like, 'wow, I just found this diamond!'" Amir Khan Durrani sent a photo of his wife's diamond to the TSA and it matched the one they'd found."Our trip went from a chaotic moment to one at peace," he wrote in an email thanking TSA staff."My wife was crying hysterically as we did not know what happened, nor did we know how to approach the situation."Thank you so much to all the staff present and especially to officer John Killian. I might not ever meet you, but you had an impact on us at that moment and I will never forget it."Pics, courtesy TSA, shows the diamond and officer John Killian
