Alastair Ford on Trump, North Korea and Congo's new mining code

Mining Capital's Alastair Ford discusses the potential upcoming meeting between US President Donald Trump and the leader of North Korea Kim Jong Un.

''It would be fascinating to be a fly on the wall during the actual meeting to see how they interact''

''The North Koreans have been seeking a meeting with the US President for years and this is something they've always wanted ... so the idea that the Trump administration is presenting this as some kind of success for Trump's aggressive rhetoric is slightly skirting the issue''.

Ford also discusses the new tariffs imposed by the US on steel and aluminium imports as well as the new mining code which is set to be signed into law in the DRC.
