US aluminium company Alcoa attributed a loss for the fourth quarter of 2017 to the closure of some operations and higher costs.
The company reported a net loss of $196 million, primarily due to the shuttering of its Rockdale Operations site in Texas and the divestment of its Portovesme aluminium smelter in Italy.
