Almost 75% of Vale's iron ore sales 'will carry premiums' in 2018

Around 75% of Vale's iron ore sales in 2018 will carry premiums over the 62% Fe reference price, a senior executive has said.

Currently, about 40% of the miner's iron ore sales, involving volumes with 65% Fe, include a premium of $15 per tonne, while 35% of the company's sales comprising materials blended in Malaysia and China carry a premium of $2-3 per tonne, investor relations Andr?(C) Figueiredo said during a presentation for investors on Wednesday...
