Alrosa Publishes List of Core Rough Buyers

Alrosa has released a new, expanded roster of long-termclients receiving rough diamonds in its Alrosa Alliance program.The miner requires the 56 companies it listed to meetcertain standards, it said Friday. Clients must comply with Alrosa'sresponsible business practices, show a certain level of rough-diamond demandeven when the market is slow, and demonstrate financial performance that meetsthe company's standards.Contract clients currently account for 70% of Alrosa's totalsales volume.
