Annual cif Taiwan zinc, lead contract deals signed for 2020 at diversified terms

Taiwanese buyers of zinc ingot have signed 2020 annual supply contracts with major zinc producers at lower premiums compared with this year, sources with knowledge of the matter told Fastmarkets.

"Top brands are signed at $145-150 per tonne and normal brands concluded at $130-140," one Tainwan-based source told Fastmarkets.
"A number of Southeast Asia traders also signed at $145-150 per tonne," a Southeast Asia source said.
The deals are around $30 lower than this year's annual contracts.
The zinc SHG 99.995% ingot premium, cif Taiwan has been steady at $120-130 per tonne since early November after falling to its lowest level since May 8, 2017 on November 5.
