Asian lithium market steady; European, US prices boosted by tight supply

Lithium prices in China were stable in the week to Thursday November 18 due to limited spot trading activity, while seaborne East Asian prices were flat amid similar conditions.

Fastmarkets' assessment of the lithium carbonate 99.5% Li2CO3 min, battery grade, spot price range, ex-works domestic China was at 195,00-200,000 yuan ($30,546-31,330) per tonne on Thursday, unchanged since October 28.
