Avino Silver & Gold ramps up production in Mexico

(Kitco News) - Avino Silver & Gold Mines(TSX: ASM) today reported that production of 285,464 silver equivalent ounces,consisting of 77,935 ounces of silver, 1,183 ounces of gold, and 685,535 poundsof copper, was achieved in Q3 2021 from its Avino mine near Durango, Mexico.

This production includesoutput from the historic above ground stockpile material. Avino said that ithas successfully recommenced operations at the Avino mine and compared to Q22020, most recent quarter of production, silver equivalent production at Avinoincreased 70% to 269,680 ounces in Q3 2021.

"We are very pleased toannounce our third quarter production results which followed a period ofoperational closure," said President and CEO David Wolfin. "Theentire Avino team worked tremendously hard to assist in the resumption ofoperations in August, and successfully achieve production for the quarter.Moving forward, we aim to steadily increase production to reach the levelsestablished prior to the closure."

Avino is primarily a silverproducer from its wholly owned Avino mine near Durango, Mexico. The company'smission and strategy is to create shareholder value through organic growth atthe historic Avino property and the strategic acquisition of mineralexploration and mining properties.
