Birks Gets New Omni-Channel VP

RAPAPORT... Canada-based jewelry retailer Birks Group hasappointed Aur?(C)lie P?(C)pion vice president of omni-channel sales and operations. P?(C)pion (pictured) has more than13 years of management experience with luxury brands. She was most recently themanaging director, Canada, for Swarovski, responsible for retail and wholesaleoperations, marketing and merchandising. She has also worked for Gucci GroupWatches and Puig Prestige. "[P?(C)pion's]experience and knowledge in the luxury-jewelry-retail industry, as well as heromni-channel expertise, will be key assets for Birks Group as we continue thedevelopment of the Birks product brand and the transformation of our [store]network in Canada," CEO Jean-Christophe B?(C)dos said last week. P?(C)pion started herposition with Birks at the beginning of April.
