Blockchain can now monitor how you think in real time, here's how - Sallyann Della Casa

Blockchain technology can now dynamically track your personality profile and store information on a database, with applications ranging from human resources, advertising, and even intelligence gathering, according to Sallyann Della Casa, chief identity hacker at GLEAC.

"We're building the largest dataset of human skills applications in tricky work situations," Della Casa told David Lin, anchor for Kitco News, at the Future Blockchain Summit in Dubai.

In practical terms, this means that employers and recruiters can now have access to a completer and more thorough dataset that measures a job candidate's personality profile more accurately.

"Is there a live link right now where I can go look at your quality of thought over a period of time of anything?" Della Casa said. "Maybe the closest thing you might say is I can go look at your Twitter feed and see how you think about things but that's very open-ended. But, if I wanted to see a very closed frame, how you think for a particular job role...you want to be a cybercrime analyst, and I'm really looking at your level of creative and critical thinking. What if I had a dataset of situations involving that role and over a period of time, I can see how you handle situations in that role compared to others, that's what it is that we're doing."

Blockchain is more dynamic in how it handles data sets than traditional data management tools, Della Casa added.
