RAPAPORT... Blue Nile has appointed former Starbucks executive AlexandraWheeler as chief marketing officer. Wheeler will lead the company's brand-marketing andcustomer-experience teams. She will focus on creating an "integrated andmeaningful brand experience" for Blue Nile's digital customers, Blue Nile CEOJason Goldberger said last week. Wheeler was vice president of global digitalmarketing at Starbucks for almost 11 years, according to her LinkedIn page, andran the marketing for the coffee chain's rewards program. "Alex is a transformational leader with a proven trackrecord in driving results for some of the world's most notable brands,"Goldberger added.
