Bonhams NY appoints Leslie Roskind as Senior Jewelry Specialist

The international auction house Bonhams announced the appointment of Leslie Roskind as Senior Jewelry Specialist. She takes up her new position with immediate effect, and will be based in Bonhams New York office.

Roskind has been in the jewelry industry for more than 25 years and most recently in the retail and dealer sector working at Fred Leighton and at Windsor Jewels where she was responsible for the acquisition of jewels and selling to the firm's private clients in the store and at trade shows. Prior to that she worked at Christie's for a combined 17 years in New York, Los Angeles and Geneva and was very closely involved with the sales of the Jewels of Elizabeth Taylor and the Collection of Ellen Barkin.

Leslie Roskind is a graduate of Boston University and the American College of Switzerland, a GIA graduate and a member of the American Society of Jewelry Historians.

Brett O'Connor, Senior International Jewellery Director and Senior Vice President of Bonhams US, said: "We are delighted to welcome Leslie to Bonhams. Her knowledge and passion for jewels will be a great asset to the company as we continue to grow our sales program in the United States."
