Brazil's domestic steel coil prices soar amid tight supply, low inventories

Flat steel prices in Brazil's domestic market have increased for the fifth month in a row, with supply remaining scarce amid low inventories.

Steelmakers have applied price increases ranging from 8-15% this month, depending on the product, with local distributors having trouble restocking amid longer-than-usual lead times.
