Brazilian auto output soars in April vs last year but down 4.7% vs March

Brazil's vehicle production recovered in April from the same month of 2020 when plants had to close due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the country's automaker association, Anfavea, said

But output declined from March, it said on Friday May 7.
Domestic vehicle production totaled 190,907 units last month, a huge rebound from 1,847 units in April 2020. Compared with the 200,340 units produced in March this year, however, production was down by 4.71%.
