Brazilian flat steel distributor sales up 17% in October, Inda says

Brazilian flat steel distributors increased their sales volumes by 17% on an annual comparison in October, in a recovering domestic market, according to local distribution association, Inda.

Sales totaled 371,700 tonnes in October, compared with 317,700 tonnes in October 2019, Inda said on Tuesday November 24. 
Month on month, volumes were down 7.8% from September's 403,100 tonnes.
In total, distributors sold 2.99 million tonnes of flat-rolled steel in January-October, 5% more than the 2.85 million tonnes sold in the same period in 2019, Inda added.
