Flat steel sales from Brazilian distributors increased by 39% year-on-year in September 2020, amid a scarcity of steel in the local market and a lack of competition from imported material.
Flat steel sales reached 403,100 tonnes in the month, up from 290,000 tonnes in September 2019.
