Buffett Store to Sell World's Largest Pink Synthetic

RAPAPORT... A synthetics manufacturer has partnered with WarrenBuffett-owned jewelry retailer Borsheims to unveil what it claimed was thelargest pink lab-grown diamond in the world. ALTR Created Diamonds unveiled the Asscher-cut, 3.99-carat,fancy orangey-pink, VS2-clarity stone last week to mark the start of the 2018Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders Weekend, an annual gathering for investors inBuffett's businesses. The diamond went on sale on Friday at Borsheims's Omahastore, alongside several 1- to 3-carat pink synthetic diamonds, ALTRsaid. "We couldn't be more excited to bring our unique brand ofcreated diamonds to such an American institution, and thrilled to present theworld's largest pink created diamond during this year's Berkshire HathawayShareholders Weekend," said Amish Shah, president of R.A.
