Bulk Sampling for Fancy Yellows in Arctic Circle

(IDEX Online) - Bulk sampling for high-value fancy yellow to orange yellow diamonds is about to start in Canada's northernmost territory.Field crews for Vancouver-based North Arrow Minerals will collect up 2,000 tonnes in a $4.5m program funded by partner Burgundy Diamond Mines.Eight kimberlite pipes have been identified at the Naujaat Project near the community of Naujaat, Nunavut, in the Canadian Arctic Archipelago.The project's Q1-4 kimberlite, the largest and most diamondiferous discovered so far, hosts an estimated 26.1m inferred mineral resource of Type IaA - Ib fancy-colored diamonds. North Arrow said the sample will be shipped south in September for processing.
