Aben Resources recently released truly unique drill results that have already driven share prices up 70%. That may only be the start.

To your wealth,

Gerardo Del Real: This is Gerardo Del Real with The Outsider Club. Joining me today is President and CEO of Aben Resources (TSX-V: ABN)(OTC: ABNAF), Mr. Jim Pettit. Jim, how are you this morning?

Jim Pettit: I'm really good this morning, very excited. Thanks for having me on.

Gerardo Del Real: I ask with a smile on my face because I know you're having a great morning.

You just had some news on the very first drill hole and you hit 62.4 grams per tonne gold over 6 meters within 38.7 grams per tonne gold over 10 meters at the Forrest Kerr Project in BC's Golden Triangle.

There's been recent assays out of the Golden Triangle that were disappointing.

These have not been disappointing.

The market has rewarded you with a 70% increase in share price on over 15 million shares traded as we speak. So first and foremost, congratulations on a great first hole.

Jim Pettit: Thank you very much.

Gerardo Del Real: Now, let's talk details. You got four separate high-grade zones. Can we talk about that, because it's relatively shallow considering the grades.

Jim Pettit: Yeah, it's pretty unique. Generally it's all tied together but these are four separate zones and each zone is centered by a core that's pretty much over an ounce in each one of them, but each one of them have other mineralizations and attached intervals. An interval is 1 meter.

As you can get away from that core, there's more. Right? So, you can actually get a good solid width out of it. I mean, 2 meters can be mineable.

This is tremendous, absolutely tremendous. To have four zones like that to report separately is really, really unique.

I guess it kind of highlights the type of environment we're in. It's traditionally very high grade. If you're into the epithermal systems there, which we are, hydrothermal systems, there's structural features that you want to look for that allows those fluids to get through there. There's fracturing everywhere.

It's a great zone to be in. We identified it last year. We didn't have these kind of numbers and actually when we first saw the core we thought, "Oh, going to be similar or a little less than last year."

Well, this is a surprise. That's one of the things our Chairman tells us about, Ron Netolitzky. This is his back yard. He's very well known for discoveries in this area, discovered Snip and Eskay.

He says you have to keep your eyes open. You can have tremendous grades in core that you don't even see the gold. It's so fine. Then others like what we've got is bonanza. It's bonanza stuff. You can see it, it lights up the sky in parts of it.

For us, it's going to be a learning curve going forward. We have a zone right now that seems to be corralled between this particular zone, Boundary North, where this hole is from.

And we've got several others, three others from last year and then we've got about another eight to report on right now. Then 230 meters to the south we've got a historic hole drilled by Noranda in 1991, sitting there, which is also over 300 grams per tonne. That was only a half meter to a meter.

They didn't do any other drilling, so it's going to make for interesting times.

Like two big bookends and what's in the middle? As Mr. Netolitzky said to me yesterday, it doesn't just happen like that. There's something in the middle too.

So, we'll be going in hard going forward. You know, have to keep the fire going.
