Chile is the world leader in copper production, but the country also has reserves of cobalt and lithium primed for the electric revolution, said Baldo Prokurica, Minister of Mining of Chile.
"We're really driving and pushing the e-mobility aspect. Right now, Chile is the second country with the most electrical busses after China, and in fact right now there are 500 electrical busses in Santiago that are used for public transit," Prokurica told Kitco News on the sidelines of the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada convention in Toronto.
