China AM: Ferrous futures little changed

China's ferrous futures ended the morning trading session on Thursday February 8 little changed from their opening prices.

Futures closing prices - morning session Shanghai Futures Exchange May rebar: 3,937 ($628) per tonne, up 7 yuan per tonne May hot-rolled coil: 4,029 yuan per tonne, up 16 yuan per tonne Dalian Commodity Exchange May iron ore: 522.50 yuan per tonne, down 2 yuan per tonneMay coking coal: 1,360.50 yuan per tonne, down 3 yuan per tonne May coke: 2,148.50 yuan per tonne, up 2 yuan per tonne Raw materials Indian miner Vedanta sold 1.8 million tonnes of iron ore in the December quarter, down 52% on the year, but higher than the 0.7 million tonnes posted in the preceding quarter, according to its latest production update....
