CHINA HRC: Cash shortage keeps trading activity thin

China's hot-rolled coil prices fell in the northern region on Wednesday February 25 despite relative stability in the east, though trading activity across the country fell amid complaints over a lack of cash.

Domestic
Eastern China (Shanghai): 3,560-3,570 yuan ($506-508) per tonne, narrowing upward by 10 yuan per tonne
Northern China (Tangshan): 3,330-3,350 yuan per tonne, down 10-20 yuan per tonne
Prices in Shanghai were stable, but traders there said trading was thinner compared with a day earlier.
