CHINA HRC: Domestic prices flat on recovering futures

China's domestic hot-rolled coil prices stopped falling on Thursday May 24 amid gains in the futures market and a pick-up in trading activity.

Domestic Eastern China (Shanghai): 4,180-4,200 yuan ($655-658) per tonne, unchanged Northern China (Tianjin): 4,060-4,080 yuan per tonne, unchanged HRC futures regained some strength during the day, which stimulated buying interest.
