CHINA HRC: Domestic prices rally on continued output decline

Domestic hot-rolled coil prices in China rose on Thursday September 16, with the latest industry data pointing to continued declines in both output and inventories.

The China Iron and Steel Association (Cisa) said on Thursday morning that daily output of crude steel from its member mills averaged 2.04 million tonnes in the first 10 days of September, down 0.38% from August 21-31 and dropping 4.29% from the same 10-day period last year.
