CHINA HRC: Exporters ask higher prices on limited resources

China's hot-rolled coil exporters raised offers on Friday October 23 amid limited supply, while domestic price gains also boosted sentiment.

Domestic
Eastern China (Shanghai): 3,920-3,930 yuan ($587-589) per tonne, up 10-20 yuan per tonne
Northern China (Tangshan) - weekly assessment: 3,750-3,770 yuan per tonne, unchanged
Spot prices in the domestic market gained on high futures prices in morning trading on Friday.
But trading activity was weak, especially after futures prices fell in the afternoon session.
