CHINA HRC: Exporters keep offers high despite drop in domestic buying

China's hot-rolled coil exporters maintained their high offers on Wednesday September 2 despite a drop in trading activity in the domestic market.

Eastern China (Shanghai): 4,040-4,050 yuan ($592-593) yuan per tonne, narrowing downward by 20 yuan per tonne
Although sellers in Shanghai issued offers as high as 4,070 yuan per tonne, buyers were only willing to place orders at 4,040-4,050 yuan per tonne, a trader in the city told Fastmarkets.
