CHINA HRC: Mills accept lower export prices

China's hot-rolled coil export prices moved down on Wednesday September 23, with producers accepting lower export prices amid domestic falls.

Domestic
Eastern China (Shanghai): 3,830-3,850 yuan ($565-568) yuan per tonne, down 10 yuan per tonne
A Shanghai-based trader told Fastmarkets that trading activity there weakened on Wednesday, pulling prices lower.
The dip in activity was because of the slide in HRC futures the previous day, although prices recovered somewhat just before the futures market closed on Tuesday, the trader said.
