CHINA HRC: Prices stable on low inventories

China's hot-rolled coil prices were largely stable on Monday June 22 amid low inventories.

Domestic
Eastern China (Shanghai): 3,750-3,760 yuan ($530-532) per tonne, narrowing downward by 10 yuan per tonne
Trading activity was moderate on Monday amid futures losses, but sellers were reluctant to cut their offer prices due to low inventories, according to a Shanghai-based trader.

A second Shanghai-based trader agreed, saying she had not seen demand increase significantly, but it was "hard [for price] to fall" with inventories continuing...
