China's domestic rebar prices dropped on Thursday December 12 on concerns over high production rates.

Northern China (Beijing): 3,580-3,600 yuan per tonne, down 60-70 yuan per tonne

Domestic rebar output totaled 3.66 million tonnes over the week ended Thursday, up 31,000 tonnes from the preceding week, according to a local industry information provider.
