CHINA REBAR: Domestic prices pick up on rising futures

China's domestic rebar prices edged up on Wednesday April 22 amid a recovery in the futures market and increased trading in comparison with the past two days.

Eastern China (Shanghai): 3,430-3,450 yuan ($483-488) per tonne, narrowed upward by 10 yuan per tonne
Northern China (Beijing): 3,430-3,460 yuan per tonne, widened upward by 10 yuan per tonne
 

Rebar futures rose in tandem with the rising Shanghai Composite Index during the day, which ended the day at 2,843.98, up by 16.97 from Tuesday's closing price.
