China's domestic rebar prices moved up slightly on Monday September 14 to track movements in the billet market, but the increases failed to stimulate much demand.

Domestic
Eastern China (Shanghai): 3,700-3,720 yuan ($542-545) per tonne, up by 20 yuan per tonne
Billet prices in Tangshan rose over the weekend on active buying, which led to those for rebar following suit on Monday.
But rain and a weak futures market weighed on buying activity in eastern China.
