CHINA REBAR: Domestic prices up week on week on higher production costs

Rebar prices in Eastern China were flat on Friday September 4, but up on a week-on-week basis following an increase in the cost of raw materials.

Domestic
Eastern China (Shanghai): 3,670-3,700 yuan ($536-541) per tonne, unchanged
Northern China (Beijing) weekly assessment: 3,660-3,690 yuan per tonne, up by 40 yuan per tonne
Prices in the eastern region have increased by 30 yuan per tonne from last Friday.
