CHINA REBAR: Domestic trading activity rises on lower prices

China's domestic rebar prices dropped on Wednesday August 12 following early hour futures losses, however, demand was stronger than in the past two days, sources said.

Eastern China (Shanghai): 3,610-3,640 yuan ($519-524) per tonne, down by 30 yuan per tonne
Buyers raised their procurement rates at lower prices to replenish their rebar inventories.
