China's domestic rebar prices continued the upward trend on early-hour gains on Friday September 10, but demand decreased due to heavy rain in the eastern region.

Eastern China (Shanghai): 5,440-5,470 yuan ($842-847) per tonne, up by 30 yuan per tonne
Northern China (Beijing) weekly assessment: 5,250-5,280 yuan per tonne, up by 110 yuan per tonne
