CHINA REBAR: Prices pick up, but sentiment pessimistic

China's rebar prices moved up on Monday November 25 in both the domestic and export markets following futures gains, but participants were bearish on the market in the coming two months.

Eastern China (Shanghai): 4,090-4,120 yuan ($582-586) per tonne, up 20 yuan per tonne
Northern China (Beijing): 3,800-3,840 yuan per tonne, up 20 yuan per tonne
Higher rebar futures led to prices rising and higher procurement rates in the spot market.
