Eastern China's rebar prices increased slightly on Wednesday September 30 on stronger demand to end the short working week 20-40 yuan per tonne higher than last Friday.

Domestic
Eastern China (Shanghai): 3,630-3,660 yuan ($533-538) per tonne, up by 10 yuan per tonne
Northern China (Beijing) weekly assessment: 3,570-3,590 yuan per tonne, down by 50 yuan per tonne
Mild weather and restocking demand ahead of China's October 1-8 Golden Week to mark its National Day led to higher trading activity during the day.
This pushed up rebar prices slightly.
