Expectations of steady output for rebar in China kept spot prices largely steady despite increases in the futures market on Friday January 15.

Domestic
Eastern China (Shanghai): 4,280-4,310 yuan ($661-666) per tonne, widened upward by 10 yuan per tonne
Northern China (Beijing) weekly assessment: 4,020-4,060 yuan per tonne, down by 60 yuan per tonne
