China's auto output falls 19%, sales down 14% in November

Output and sales continued to contract in China's automotive sector, with the rate of decline during the first 11 months of 2018 widening in comparison with that for the first 10 months.

The country produced 2.50 million vehicles in November, down 18.9% from a year earlier, while sales fell 13.9% on the year to 2.55 million units, according to the latest data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers released on Thursday December 13.Last month's output and sales are both 7% higher than those in October, however.The CAAM noted that...
