CIS export slab market quiet, lacks clarity

The export market for steel slab from the Commonwealth of Independent States remained quiet in the week to Monday November 15, with a various trends in different customer markets driving a lack of clarity.

Fastmarkets price assessment for steel hot-rolled coil domestic, ex-whs Eastern China was 4,700-4,750 yuan ($736-744) per tonne on Monday, down by 60 yuan per tonne from Friday and by 210-250 yuan per tonne week on week.
