CIS FLAT STEEL: Steady on weak demand

The export market for hot-rolled coil (HRC) and cold-rolled coil (CRC) from the Commonwealth of Independent States remained weak as buyers continued to show little interest in bookings.

Metal Bulletin's weekly price assessment for CIS-origin HRC exports was unchanged at $535-545 per tonne fob Black Sea on Monday September 10."There is no reason for price increase, Chinese market is weak, consuming markets are weak too," one trader from the CIS told Metal Bulletin.
