CIS PIG IRON: Prices up on new sales

Prices for pig iron exported from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) pushed up again in the week to Thursday November 19 on new sales.

Fastmarkets' weekly price assessment for high-manganese pig iron, export, fob main port Black Sea, CIS was $375-390 per tonne on Thursday, up from $370-374 per tonne a week earlier.
Early this week, a sale of Ukraine-origin pig iron was done at $400-402 per tonne cfr in Italy - equivalent to about $375-477 per tonne fob Black Sea.
