CIS STEEL BILLET: Prices inch up on higher offers

Export offers for billet from the Commonwealth of Independent states increased over the weekend, although mills in no hurry to sell volumes, Fastmarkets understands.

The mood in the market was nonetheless positive amid growing finished long steel production costs and the expectation of further growth in scrap prices.
