COKING COAL DAILY: DBCT declares force majeure - sources; Queensland's ports brace for cyclone

The main coking coal exports hub of Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal (DBCT) in Queensland, Australia, declared force majeure after vessel loading operations were suspended earlier this week, market sources told Fastmarkets on Friday March 13.

Premium hard coking coal, fob DBCT: $162.13 per tonne, up $2.57 per tonne
Premium hard coking coal, cfr Jingtang: $166.68 per tonne, up $1.82 per tonne
Hard coking coal, fob DBCT: $146.01 per tonne, up $2 per tonne
Hard coking coal, cfr Jingtang: $152.25 per tonne, down $0.25 per tonne
DBCT management could not be reached at the time of publication.
