COKING COAL DAILY: Premium prices diverge in cfr, fob market

Seaborne coking coal prices slightly increased in the cfr market amid positive market sentiment and inched down in the fob market due to weak procurement and speculative buying on Monday June 4, sources said.

Premium hard coking coal, fob DBCT: $164.86 per tonne, down by $0.91 per tonne
Premium hard coking coal, cfr Jingtang: $282.87 per tonne, up by $0.83 per tonne
Hard coking coal, fob DBCT: $138.27 per tonne, down by $0.66 per tonne
Hard coking coal, cfr Jingtang: $248.33 per tonne, up by $0.31 per tonne
In China, the domestic coking coal market stayed largely stable in the week to June 4 amid supply tightness and procurement demand from coke producers and steel mills, sources said.
