COKING COAL DAILY: Prices drift lower on limited demand during holiday

The fob seaborne premium hard coking coal prices drifted lower on Thursday February 11 amid thin demand during the Lunar New Year holiday period in Asia.

Fastmarkets indices 
Premium hard coking coal, fob DBCT: $142.01 per tonne, down $3.51 per tonne 
Premium hard coking coal, cfr Jingtang: $217.23 per tonne, unchanged 
Hard coking coal, fob DBCT: $127.57 per tonne, down $2.50 per tonne 
Hard coking coal, cfr Jingtang: $203 per tonne, unchanged

Demand on both fob Australia and cfr China bases has been extremely thin since yesterday, sources said, especially with China away for the Lunar New Year holiday, that runs until February...
