COKING COAL DAILY: Prices up in cfr market on active buying

Coking coal prices increased in the cfr China market on Thursday June 17 amid active buying between North American suppliers and Chinese traders, sources said.

The fob market, however, remained largely stable on firm demand, sources told Fastmarkets.

Premium hard coking coal, fob DBCT: $174.10 per tonne, up $0.24 per tonne
Premium hard coking coal, cfr Jingtang: $283.37 per tonne, up $1.33 per tonne
Hard coking coal, fob DBCT: $152.93 per tonne, flat
Hard coking coal, cfr Jingtang: $256.98 per tonne, up $1.04 per tonne
