COKING COAL DAILY: Prices up in fob market due to essential restocking activity

Seaborne premium hard coking coal prices edged higher in the fob market on Thursday April 22, boosted by an increase in restocking activity, but cfr prices continued to be relatively flat, sources told Fastmarkets.

Premium hard coking coal, fob DBCT: $113.28 per tonne, up $1.28 per tonne
Premium hard coking coal, cfr Jingtang: $220.54 per tonne, up $0.19 per tonne
Hard coking coal, fob DBCT: $105.62 per tonne, up $0.50 per tonne
Hard coking coal, cfr Jingtang: $200.49 per tonne, up $0.11 per tonne
Liquidity issues could be behind the differences in the cfr China and fob Australia markets, sources said.
