COKING COAL DAILY: Seaborne fob prices rise due to tight supply, bullish India market

Seaborne coking coal prices in the fob market climbed on Thursday February 4 with trader sources in India citing strong demand for steel and healthy production levels there.

The cfr market remained quiet on Thursday with the Chinese New Year holiday approaching.

Premium hard coking coal, cfr Jingtang: $217.23 per tonne, unchanged
Hard coking coal, fob DBCT: $135.07 per tonne, up $2.50 per tonne
Hard coking coal, cfr Jingtang: $203 per tonne, unchanged
